Street Hits – Lamborghini Huracan vs. Huracan Performante

August 28th, 2020

While these two Italian supercars seem virtually identical, each has been modified by different performance firms. The Lamborghini Huracan has been modified with a Stage 2+ Kit from sheepyrace. The Performante Huracan has been treated to a Stage 3+ Kit from Dallas Performance. When these two purpose-built monsters meet on the interstate (in Mexico) it will be pandemonium!

The Lamborghini Huracan comes from the factory with naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine capable of producing 610hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.0-seconds flat. The (black) car in the video has been radically altered with a Stage 2+ Kit from sheepyrace. It includes a sheepyrace twin turbocharger kit, a MoTec stand-alone ECU, a proprietary racing clutch with billet cages, a flex fuel package and a proprietary transmission control reflash. On E85 fuel, this beauty can make 1,000-1,200whp and 800whp on pump gas.

Standard equipment for the Lamborghini Huracan Performante (green) is the same N/A engine as the conventional Huracan. The Performante has a more capable suspension system and some lightweight carbon fiber body panels. The motor is also tuned to produce 630hp and it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9-seconds. The Performante is upgraded with a Stage 3+ Kit from Dallas Performance. A twin turbo system with a built engine and upgraded engine management are included in this kit. The Performante can produce 1,000+whp on premium pump gas or 1,350+whp on race gas.

You don’t want to miss it when these two hook up and get down on the interstate.
