Drag Strip? We don’t need no stinking drag strip! It’s time for some dig racing on the streets (of Mexico). Coming at all you gearheads from a desolate industrial park – somewhere south of the border – a gaggle of competitive souls have gathered to burn up some gas and rubber. Get a load of these guys and gals.

First up is a race between a GMC Envoy and a Ford Mustang GT. The Envoy is a mid-size SUV that came with an optional 5.3-liter V8 engine and all-wheel drive. In stock trim, the Envoy could produce approximately 300hp. Featured in this video is an Envoy that has been upgraded with a supercharger and all the supporting hardware. Modifications to the Mustang are unknown. When the race begins, both cars cut a clean light, and the Ford gaps the GMC.

Next up is a contest between a C8 Corvette (with its powerful naturally aspirated and mid-mounted 5.5-liter engine) and a supercharged C6 Corvette Z06 with nitrous. This one is too close to call.

The C8 Corvette will take on a BMW M3 in the next race. The Corvette gets the better of this one.

It’s time for the Envoy to race the C8 Corvette and intensity fills the air. Who you got in this one?
