Sneaky Fast 1967 Ford F-100 Restomod

April 10th, 2025

Fresh from the land of fruits and nuts, we have a 1967 Ford F-100 that not only looks amazing, but it also runs pretty well. Shawn (AutotopiaLA) is set to give us the full walk around of this beautiful street sleeper pickup built by Velocity Modern Classics (VMC).

Under the hood of this vintage hauler is a modern motor. The modular Gen III 5.0-liter Coyote mill is in crate condition and makes 460hp to the crankshaft pulley. The transmission is a 10R80 10-speed automatic and the rear end is a – you guessed it – a Ford 9-inch. This modern fuel injected powertrain yields optimum drivability and reliability with adequate power.

Of course, any project is only as good as the foundation. This pretty pickup is riding on a Roadster Shop chassis with adjustable Fox shocks all around.

The brakes are (six-piston per caliper with cross-drilled and vented rotors) four-wheel disc from Baer. The brake hydraulics are from Wilwood. No vacuum booster on this build. It’s a hydra-boost setup. Those perfect wheels are from Forgeline (19-inch front and 20-inch rear) wrapped in Michelin rubber.

Much like the driveline, the exterior and interior of this Ford is pristine. Much of the work was handled by VMC. Kudos guys. Great build.
