SEMA 2015 Highlights

SEMA 2015 HighlightsIf you (like I) missed the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas, here are a few video highlights that may help to soothe the wound. For starters there’s a full-custom JDM Nissan Sunny pickup with a tricked out SR-20 four-cylinder engine. This contraption weighs only about 1,800-pounds and makes 450hp. Next, we have an E28 BMW. You will seldom see a wilder suspension setup than the one on this car. It’s inboard mounted and push rod activated with aluminum mounts. The engine is an inline 6-cylinder (dry-sump oiling system) that has been seriously beefed up by VAC Motorsports in Philadelphia.

Let’s move on to the S14 240SX with a turbocharged KA24T engine. This thing is awesome and looks more like a classic Trans Am racer than an import. After that it’s off to the track (a closed airstrip) for some really weird racing. You gotta see these cars.
