One-of-a-Kind Viper V10 Swapped Honda S2000
March 7th, 2025You gotta love when a long-term build comes together this sweet. Especially when it combines a tiny import roadster with a massive domestic powerplant. The project is 10-years in the making and it just don’t get no better than this.
At first glance, you’re probably wondering, “what the heck is that?”. The sheetmetal is mostly a Honda S2000. The majority of the widebody components are custom tailored aftermarket parts skillfully modified by the professionals at Industry Garage.
Front and rear chassis modules are custom fabricated. Steering is a close ratio manual rack-and-pinion from a Mustang. Total weight is 3,201-pounds with a front-to-rear balance of nearly 50/50. The front brakes are from AP Racing and the rears are Wilwood.
Under the custom hood, is a naturally aspirated all-aluminum 8.3-liter V10 engine from a 2006 Dodge Viper. The big motor is basically stock with the exception of steel connecting rods (instead of powder) and forged pistons. Maximum output is dyno certified at 510whp and 535 lb.-ft. of torque.
The stock (Viper) manual transmission is built by Tick Performance. Out back, the rear end is an 8.8-inch ring gear independent axle unit from a Ford Explorer. The gear ratio is 3.05:1.
Let’s get this beast on the street!
