Nissan GT-R vs. Lamborghini and More Exotics – Street Hits
April 28th, 2021If you could find a Japanese sports car that could hang with most exotics, would you be interested? How about if you could buy it for a fraction of the price of your average supercar? Interested now? That’s basically what you can have in the Nissan GT-R. Climb in and let’s hit the highway (in Mexico, of course).
Depending upon which version of the Nissan GT-R you choose, you can anticipate spending between $115K and $210K for an extremely capable production sports car. The all-wheel drive GT-R is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine. While it is scary fast, it is also extraordinarily smooth and well behaved as an everyday driver. The stock Nissan GT-R is capable of producing between 565 and 600hp depending upon model selection. In stock trim, the 2020 Nissan GT-R can blast from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9-seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. Question is, how can it hold out against a gaggle of souped-up cruisers from Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche?
Buckle up. This may be a wild ride.
