February 19th, 2016

Naturally Aspirated Viper Turns 9.95-Second Quarter-Mile 01Andy Wheeler and the crew from Viper Exchange calmly rolled out their Gen 5 Viper, at the Texas Speed Syndicate Viper Nationals Event, and set a world record for the quarter-mile. This beautiful Competition Blue Snake looks and sounds amazing as it blazes through the 1320 in under 10-seconds at 140.69 mph.

No forced air induction for this naturally aspirated supercar; in fact it is still under the factory warranty.

Modifications include an Arrow ported cylinder head and camshaft kit, an Arrow racing fuel tuned controller, a crank pulley upgrade, ARH long tube exhaust headers and cat-back exhaust system, a McCleod RXT clutch, and a set of Hoosier 18-inch drag radials wrapped around CCW rims.
