Modified Street Mayhem – Corvette Z06 vs. Porsche 911 Turbo S

The C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 comes equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter mill mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. In stock trim, the Z06 can create 650hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque at peak RPM. As the top of the Chevy performance lineup, the Corvette Z06 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.95-seconds and clear the standing quarter-mile in 10.95-seconds @ 127 mph. This car has been modified with a lower pulley upgrade, a set of exhaust headers, a methanol injection system and an E50 tune. She’s certainly fast on paper.
Not to be overlooked, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.8-liter flat 6 engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The all-wheel drive Turbo S is capable of making 560hp and 533 lb.-ft. of torque in factory condition. The speedy Porsche can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 10.8-seconds @ 126 mph.
