Major League Street Hits – Audi R8 vs. Nissan GT-R

November 26th, 2024

Referring to either of these cars as kinda fast would be like saying that a pig is somewhat pork. Both these cars are built with the sole purpose of making huge horsepower and developing tremendous amounts of speed. Tonight, they will meet on the street (in Mexico).

On the right is the flagship of the Nissan lineup. The GT-R is a front engine all-wheel drive high-performance coupe. Under the hood is a twin turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine. In its current condition, this Nissan exceeds factory specifications by more than quadruple the horsepower. The engine has been professionally built with premium internals and the cylinder heads have been refreshed with custom camshafts, valves and springs. Porting and polishing have been performed anywhere air flow can be enhanced. The turbochargers have been enlarged along with the intercooler. In order to accommodate the forced air induction upgrades, the fuel supply and injection systems have also been augmented. Billet internals and cases were used to bulletproof the transmission. Prepared by Fabshop Miami, the GT-R featured in this video is capable of producing 2,500hp.

In the left lane is the Audi R8 V10 Performance Plus with a twin turbo setup from (John) 3:16 Speed in Clearwater, Florida. In stock trim, the all-wheel drive Audi has a mid-mounted 5.2-liter V10 engine (naturally aspirated). 3:16 Speed adds a pair of turbochargers with an intercooler and all the supporting mods. With all the bells and whistles, this Audi can churn out 2,400hp.

Get ready for one heckuva race!
