Import Insanity – TRC Invitational

September 10th, 2019

Greetings racing fans and welcome back to the TRC Invitational at Palm Beach International Raceway in the Sunshine State. This is a feature video that brings us same insane imports duking it out on the track. Dig racing, roll racing (track and street) and some dyno footage are on tap. You will want to see this one if you love imports.

Monsta Performance was on hand with a stunning Nissan Skyline GT-R. Under the hood was a built RB30 engine and a 7675 Precision turbocharger. The car is dyno certified at 800whp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It has run a fastest quarter-mile (dig) pass of 10.5-seconds @ 134 mph. Yes, it is a right-hand drive car that was brought in from out of town (at least). Today, he is being paired with a 2015 EVO X that came to kick butt and chew gum and owner Gordon is all out of gum. This car has a 2.0-liter DOHC with a sleeved block, Carillo connecting rods, CP pistons and a stock crankshaft. Up top, the cylinder head is loaded with a set of Kelford camshafts and Ferrea valvetrain components. The turbo kit is a TTC Hot Part with a Garrett GT 3584 RS turbocharger. MoTec (tuned by Lance at Motors Gone Wild) controls a set of ID 2000cc fuel injectors that are fed by twin 450 Walbro pumps and regulated using an Aeromotive pressure regulator. Jack’s went through the transmission. They made everything brand new and installed a new 4.188 final drive from MFactory. It has a triple-disc clutch with a hydraulic release. This car has the best of everything. This EVO is certified at 900whp.

When these cars hook up on the track, it is pandemonium! Don’t miss the bonus street hits and tons of other awesome cars (and bikes)!
