Havoc 2500WHP Restomod Dodge Challenger

February 18th, 2020

Rides by Kam has taken this 1970 Dodge Challenger and turned it into a work of art. Gone are the unsightly surfaces associated with underhood and undercarriage and uniquely accentuated polymer covers take their place. Even the lines and grooves in the sheet metal have been reproportioned – enhanced if you will – into something that supersedes perfection. Take a look.

The engine is a 572 cubic-inch HEMI. It is all-aluminum (block and cylinder heads) with a billet crank, Diamond forged pistons and aluminum connecting rods. Forced air induction is handled with a Procharger F3R blower that is driven directly off the crankshaft. Backed by a Tremec T-56 manual transmission (dual-clutch), this motor/supercharger combo is capable of producing 2500hp. It has 14-inch cross-drilled brake rotors, with 6-piston Baer brake calipers on all four-corners. That’s enough brakes to stop a jumbo jet in flight.

Dakota Digital gauges are laid out exquisitely and back lit in red for an added cockpit effect. As with other parts of the build, the interior is landscaped thoroughly with push-button activation as the key theme. The industrial focus is continued with the layout of the transmission and driveshaft laid out openly between the seats. No detail has been overlooked or corner cut in this outlandish build that has an i-pad mounted in the center of the dash. Ringbrothers custom accents litter the interior and exterior, alike.

To test drive or not to test drive. That is the question.
