Godzilla Takes Two Classes at Dallas Street Car Takeover

February 24th, 2016

Godzilla Takes Two Classes at Dallas Street Car TakeoverGodzilla showed up at the Dallas Street Car Takeover and wreaked havoc in two-classes of racing action. While it wasn’t the giant mechanical monster that wrecked Tokyo, the results were no less catastrophic. Godzilla was manifest in the form of the familiar 1200hp T1 Nissan GT-R. By the time smoke cleared Lamborghinis, Supras, Cadillacs, Mustangs, and all other challengers were strewn about like so much rubbish (not really but you get the jest).

With its all-wheel drivetrain, the GT-R demonstrated superior traction in winning the King of the Bakery (roll racing) crown and the 9.50 ET class. The team at T1 Race Development has this monster on the right track with a VR38 engine bored over to 4.1-liters and a pair of T1 built turbos.
