RoadTestTV got some video of what might be the first real world Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray running at the drag strip over at Palm Beach International Raceway.  This C7 was equipped with the 7 speed manual transmission and ended up running a 12.47 @ 116.2 MPH with a 2.12 60′ time.

The car is certainly capable of a better launch and it’s pretty clear the new base C7 will be running well into the 11’s, probably with the 6 speed automatic transmission.

The new Corvette is powered by a 6.2L V8 with 460HP and 465 ft lbs of torque and starts at $51,000.
