The Street Racing Channel crew (including the Old Man’s Garage and Gen 2 Garage) are hitting the road for some drag-and-drive action. Eldest son, Billy (BillyTH3KID) is piloting a friend’s twin turbo GMC Sierra work truck. That’s a regular cab with a short bed. The truck has been upgraded with a pair of turbochargers. Number two son, Tommy (Tommy2Guns) is back in the 1964 Ford Falcon for this private test and tune session. The old Ford has the rear wing removed, a gear change in the rear end and it is running smaller tires this season. The Old Man also showed up with his nitrous G-Body. This should be a hoot.

Knocking some of the winter rust off, Tommy takes the track first in the Falcon. After a textbook burnout, he posts a pass of 8.75-seconds @ 105.8 mph. There are still lots of bugs to work out of the new setup.

Billy is up next in the GMC. Right away, the burnout issue rears its ugly head. Billy still posts a 10.64 @ 135 mph. This truck should have a lot more. Further tweaks and tuning needed.

Finally, Billy brings the GMC to the line against the Old Man’s Malibu. Tons of smack talking ensues. The light drops and the Old Man takes off like a missile. More traction issues keep Billy in the doghouse.
