Daytime Street Hits – Dodge Hellcat vs. C6 Chevrolet Corvette

March 18th, 2025

Whether it’s morning, noon or night, these street racers are revved up and ready to go. This clip delivers with a pair of modified domestic maulers that are chomping at the bit. Roll racing on the streets (of Mexico) – under the bright sunlight –  is on the agenda. Slide those shades on and get ready to race!

In the right lane, we have the C6 (2005-2013) Chevrolet Corvette. This domestic beauty is equipped with an LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine. The LS3 block and heads are aluminum. The crankshaft is nodular iron, the pistons are aluminum, and the connecting rods are constructed of powdered metal. The camshaft is a hydraulic roller with trunnion-style rockers. Upgraded with an aftermarket intake manifold and exhaust headers, this LS3 powered ‘Vette can really tote the mail.

Representing the Mopar contingent is the famed Dodge Challenger Hellcat. With a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine, the Hellcat can manage more than 700hp in stock condition. This bad kitty has been modified with an open exhaust setup. It is burning premium pump gas.

Both cars have undergone a certain degree of weight reduction.

Enjoy the daytime roll racing action.
