Brenspeed 512 WHP Stock Motor Mustang GT – Dyno
August 19th, 2024Putting 500hp to the pavement is no simple task. Particularly if you plan to leave your engine stock. Brenspeed Racing – in conjunction with Paxton superchargers – has configured the perfect kit to get you over the 500hp rainbow. Check it out.
This is a 2006 Ford Mustang GT with a stock 3V 5.0-liter motor and an automatic transmission. The bottom end of the motor will remain stock. However, it will be getting a NA camshaft from Detroit Rocker. This thumpstick will perform well with the Paxton Novi 2200 SL (self-lubricating) centrifugal supercharger.
Other key modifications include 47-pound fuel injectors from Ford Performance, a fuel pump upgrade and a custom software calibration from Brenspeed. It’s also got an intake manifold and throttle body upgrade from Ford Performance. The intercooler and radiator have also been enhanced. The exhaust has high-performance mufflers as well as shorty headers.
Running on 93-octane pump gas and 11.5 psi of boost, Brenspeed dyno certified this pony car at 512.98hp and 452.46 lb.-ft. of torque to the rear wheels.
Any way you slice it, that’s a whole lot of fun on the street.
