BRABUS Conflict – 900HP Drag Race
August 13th, 2024Based in Germany, BRABUS Automotive is recognized as a tuning company. While BRABUS specializes in Mercedes-Benz, Maybach and Smart vehicles, the firm has also ventured into the Porsche arena. Tonight, we will ride along with the guys at Carwow as they pull off a three-way drag race between a BRABUS 900 Rocket R, a BRABUS 900 Superblack GLS and a BRABUS 900 Superblack G 63.
Of course, the favorite to win is the 900 Rocket R. Based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S, the Rocket is far more capable than either the GLS or the G63. To the already potent all-wheel drive Porsche 911 Turbo S BRABUS adds upgraded turbochargers, BRABUS boostxtra exhaust, BRABUS height adjustable sport suspension and BRABUS Platinum Edition monoblock wheels among their many modifications. The 900 Rocket R is capable of producing 900hp and accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5-seconds.
The Superblack GLS begins as a Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. BRABUS adds a balanced and blueprinted engine with larger turbochargers and a high-performance fuel delivery system. BRABUS exhaust is also added along with Boostxtra blow off valves and carbon titanium tailpipes. Interior and exterior upgrades are too numerous to list. The result? A 900hp SUV ready for street or track.
Not to be outdone, the Superblack G 63 is based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63. BRABUS upgrades include (but are not limited to) a balanced and blueprinted engine with larger turbochargers and a high-performance fuel delivery system. BRABUS exhaust is also added along with Boostxtra blow off valves and carbon titanium tailpipes. This thing is a lean, mean 900hp urban assault vehicle.
Ready for some drag racing? I know that I am.
