Bone Stock Street Beef – Corvette ZR1 vs. Ferrari 488 GTB

August 25th, 2022

Here’s a humdinger of a production model street battle. These guys are taking it to the interstate (down in Mexico) for some serious roll racing action. The first two competitors out of the gate will be representing the United States and Italy. It’s a Corvette against a Ferrari.

The supercharged Chevrolet C6 Corvette ZR1 can generate 650hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, the turbocharged Ferrari 488 GTB is capable of producing 661ho and 561 lb.-ft. of torque. Both cars are rear-wheel drive. The Corvette weighs a nimble 3,131-pounds and the 488 tips the scale at a svelte 3,252-pounds. This should be quite a race.

As expected, this is a series of close contests. Nevertheless, I got the impression that the Ferrari was playing possum. Luring unsuspecting victims into the trap?

Lots more fast cars are lined up to compete. Including an 800hp Nissan GT-R, a 1,000hp Corvette Z06 and a supercharged Honda. You don’t want to miss a minute of this one.
