Bone Stock C6 Corvett4 ZR1 vs. Modified Dodge Challenger Hellcat – Street Hits

March 4th, 2025

Headed out to the streets (of Mexico), today for some roll racing action between a pair of beautiful domestic machines. When your car looks this good, you gotta show it off before the sun goes down. We join the action already in progress.

In the right lane is the C6 (2005 – 2013) Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. This well-maintained street cruiser came from the factory with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of producing 638hp and 604 lb.-ft. of torque at peak RPM. At a curb weight of 3,350-pounds, the rear-wheel drive C6 ZR1 could eclipse the standing quarter-mile in 11.3-seconds @ 131 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3-seconds. Factory top speed was 205 mph.

The rear-wheel drive Dodge Challenger Hellcat was sold with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine that could churn out an amazing 717hp and 656 lb.-ft. of torque (race gas bumps peak power to 808hp). This portly Mopar (4,429-pounds) could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 10.8-seconds @ 126 mph. Top speed was 203 mph from the factory. The Hellcat featured in this video has been modified with a cat delete kit, a cold air intake and a 93-octane tune.

Let’s get this show on the road!
