The Hoonigan crew brings us a drag race between two unique automobiles. This will be a head-to-head series of races on a closed circuit. Buckle-up.

In the right lane is a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. This Canary Yellow beast has a supercharged 7.0-liter V8 engine that can produce gobs of power. The supercharger has been upgraded to an Edelbrock E4 and the exhaust is from Magnaflow. Those sweet looking wheels are custom built by American Racing and they’re wrapped in Falken rubber.

The competition is a British made 2020 Aston Martin Vantage. Under the bonnet is a twin turbocharged AMG 4.0-liter V8 motor that can churn out 503hp. It’s bone stock and equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Pretty car but I predict that it’s in for a rough afternoon.

So, the first race was a to 1,000-feet from a dead stop. As expected, the Corvette came out and crushed the Vantage. He left him in a different zip code.

The Brit is going to need a bit of a head start. He’s getting two car lengths and the jump. Think that’ll be sufficient?
