Big Turbo A90 Supra vs. Twin Turbo Mustang GT – 60 to 150 MPH Street Hits

January 10th, 2025

Listen up gearheads, it’s a grudge match between import and domestic on these streets (of Mexico), tonight. Don’t sit back and don’t settle in because these two street machines will make the fur on the back of your neck bristle.

Ensconced in white, the Ford Mustang GT represents all things American in this grudge match. Equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine – mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission – the Mustang is a best-selling sports car. The naturally aspirated (stock) Mustang GT could muster 420hp on pump gas. Not happy with that level of performance, the owner of the Ford featured in this clip opted for a twin turbo kit with all the supporting hardware. So, what does that do for a muscle car? How about double the factory performance.

Looking menacing in black is the Toyota Mk5 Supra. Engineered in collaboration between Toyota and BMW, the stock Supra comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. This Supra owner decided to replace the factory (baby) turbocharger with a Next Gen 74-millimeter turbo from Precision. No kidding, this thing looks like a diamond nestled under the hood of this Toyota.

Let’s get ready to rumble.
