Headed out to Lucas Oil Raceway with Nemo for some closed track record setting drag action. Tonight’s action is in preparation of Street Car Takeover Indianapolis where Nemo will likely be running in the 9.5-second Street Car Class.

Nemo is a Gen VI Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (Supercharged V8). This killer car is being billed as the fastest stock blower and engine 2019 Camaro ZL1 in existence. While the Lingenfelter blower remains intact, Jokerz Performance deserves a big thumbs up for porting/polishing the supercharger. These guys do beautiful work. The bottom end of the 6.2-liter Chevy mill is all OEM, however there are a set of Frankenstein Engine Dynamics ported cylinder heads on top. These are state-of-the-art CNC machined heads. Don’t forget Cory’s Performance for the camshaft/valvetrain setup (among other things).

The first pass of the night is an A-to-B pass that gets all the vital juices flowing. The second pass plunges Nemo deep into the nines with a 9.69-second pass @ 143 mph. Finally, a new personal best and a world record pass of 9.67-seconds @ 144 mph. With only five passes on this car, these guys are headed for really good things with this Camaro.
