Check out this 850hp 2019 Chevrolet Silverado build from Late Model Racecraft (LMR). These guys build a ton of these trucks as well as various other Chevy (GMC) late models. Today, Steven will be giving us a review of the build and a thorough test drive. Buckle-up.

So, this is not a simple blower add-on build. LMR has earned a reputation for reliable power. Sometimes that means you gotta go deep. The original engine was ditched for an LMR 377 cubic-inch LT1 motor with upgraded internals. Cha-ching!

Next, the fuel system was enhanced with a high-volume pump and oversized injectors.

Finally, a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger was added. The fuel system upgrades will ensure adequate fuel for the current package and the ability to add fuel if additional modifications are performed.

In its current condition, this 4 X 4 Silverado is capable of producing 850hp (at the crankshaft) and turning an 11.0-second quarter-mile. That’s on 93-octane pump gas.

The truck appears totally stock from the outside. Guess I better think twice before jumping on the next Silverado that gives me the nod at a stop light.
