Champion motorsports got their hands on a brand new 2014 Porsche 991 911 Turbo S to use a development car and brought it over to the dyno to see what kind of power the new Turbo S is making.  On a Mustang Dyno over at HP Logic, the 991 Turbo S made 486 horsepower and 456 ft-lbs of torque through it’s 7 speed PDK transmission at all 4 wheels.  The new Turbo S is rated at 560 HP from Porsche and the dyno numbers line up pretty well with the rated output.

This isn’t an overly impressive number for the new Porsche as we’ve seen the previous 997.2 Turbo S put down 475 horsepower on this same dyno.   The numbers that matter should be coming soon as we expect Champion to be hitting the drag strip soon with their new Turbo S.

We’re expecting about the same performance numbers as the previous model, high 10’s at close to 130 MPH.
