Mazdaspeed3 Cold Air IntakeThere are lots of excellent things to mention about the new 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 with 2.3L engine.  The Mazda Mazdaspeed3 combines high performance, great handling to achieve a sensible, yet sporty, sedan that is ideal for a daily driver. The 2010 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 is equipped with a turbocharged 2.3 liter four-cylinder engine. It is comes with a six-speed manual transmission and a sport-tuned suspension system.

K&N has enhanced the turbocharged 2.3 liter engine of the Mazdaspeed3 by designing a performance air intake system that produces a power gain of up to 24 horsepower . The 69-6012TS air intake replaces the OEM air box with an intake tube and a K&N high-flow air filter. The function of the custom intake tube is to smooth and straighten air flow as it’s brought into the motor. This cold air intake system has a large K&N high-flow air filter that is washable, reusable and flows more air than the OEM air filter while keeping filtration levels critical to extended engine life.  Installation of the 69-6012TS is straightforward. K&N provides comprehensive directions that guide you through the install process. A typical install takes fewer than 90 minutes and simply requires everyday hand tools.
