1352WHP Ford Mustang GT500 – Full Power Street Pulls

October 6th, 2021

Greetings drag racing enthusiasts and horsepower aficionados from every corner of the globe. Allow me to introduce Andrew (Mustang Lifestyle) and El Choppo; his radically modified 2014 Ford Mustang GT500. El Choppo has recently been upgraded with a MoTec controller in an effort to calm his rambunctious demeanor. This video has a two-fold purpose. First, it will document El Choppo’s initial full power test passes with the MoTec. Second, it will provide before and after looks focusing on traction control issues.

If you have a car that makes insane power and can’t get traction, pay close attention. Jay Meagher from Real Street Performance is going to treat us to a tutorial on how he set up the MoTec on this monster of a GT500.

The Ford Mustang GT500 is equipped with a supercharged 5.8-liter engine (662hp) from the factory. El Choppo is capable of producing 1352whp with the help of a ported Whipple supercharger, specialized supercharger/crankshaft pulleys, performance exhaust and expert tuning. As demonstrated by Jay, the new MoTec controller offers a degree of power/traction management not possible with the factory ECU.

Open your mind and learn from one of the most talented tuners in the business. Enjoy the sights and sounds of El Choppo as a side effect.
