1320 Video Takes on Powercruise in Modified Corvette ZR1

October 1st, 2024

First things first: let’s talk Powercruise. This unique event comes to the USA from Australia. The feature of this affair is a freestyle roll racing opportunity on an oval shaped track with long straightaways. It’s sort of a run-what-you-brung situation with some (500) pretty capable cars in the mix. Here it goes.

The focal point of the video is the Corvette ZR1 owned by 1320 Video. Built by CT Performance, this Chevy is more than a handful (affectionately called SPNK BNK). Modifications to the 1320 Corvette include a ported blower and snout, an E85 tune, and an RPM built manual transmission and rear end. This is a very bad girl.

The first contest of the video will involve the Corvette and a heavily modified 850hp BMW. Wow! This is an extremely close race with the Corvette taking the W.

Another hit against the BMW and Jay notices an interloper on the track. It’s now 3-wide roll racing on the flat oval. The third competitor is a McLaren 720S and he’s coming around the outside. The McLaren is only claiming 925hp, but he’s eating up some pavement in a vulgar display of roll racing superiority. The Brit has aftermarket exhaust downpipes and an E85 tune.

Tons more high velocity roll racing on this clip. Don’t miss out.
