1996 Chrysler LHS Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 153K
1996 Chrysler LHS
I always ask myself if Jeremy Clarkson was tipsy when he drove & widely
praised the LHS back in the 90's. Sorry, for not including the trunk but
the latch wasn't working & had to really rush through this tour.

Chrysler LHS 0-110!!
Pushing my 2000 chrysler LHS to its limit. This is second time I've ever
decided to max it out...well, almost. The first time I did it I hit 115 and
the speed limiter kicked in and slowed me down. I hate pushing it like
this, high rpm's for this long so I cut it short, 110mph. Decided to record
it b/c I see some videos of people flooring theirs to 70 or maybe 90. The
car has a 3.5L V6 253ci high output motor. Replaced box air filter with
cone filter. Cut 2 of the 3 mufflers off. (I hate a quiet car).

parking my 1965 lincoln continental with glasspacks
Unless you want to hear it start, fast forward to 1:20. This is me, in i
think about 2002, parking my 1965 lincoln continental (ALL original minus
the glasspacks) next to my tiny little 1994 subaru justy (semi-intentional
burnout hehe). 430ci engine with 10.1:1 compression ratio. 2.5" pipes from
the Exhaust manifolds to glass packs,
and nothing in between :)
all the upvotes - thank you all :) you're awesome :)

Not bad for a 1 Owner FL car for $2950 huh???
Bird almost flew into me at 6:07
This car has an Intech 4.6L 32 Valve DOHC V8 producing 275 HP & 275 lbs Ft.
Torque while paired to a 4 Speed Auto.
Now, because this is a FWD car, Ford purposely detuned the engine so it
wouldn't easily murder the transmission which it still can As/Is. At full
potential, it kicks around 320+ HP & 400 HP+ with some mods.
I ditched the Taurus Wagon & got this for just a little more. For some
reason, I get much better gas mileage in this.

Cadillac CTS vs Chrysler 300m
03 vs 04
3.2 vs 3.5
220 hp vs 250hp
Luxury Sedan vs Luxury Sedan
Me and my friend run a couple rolls.
My small 3.2 v6 making roughly 220hp stock vs 3.5L HO V6 making 250-255hp
TIME TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS:
My only mistake here was mentioning 2005 when the car was indeed a 2004.
There was duct tape on the mirror. Unfortunately, my friend had BOTH
mirrors knocked and snapped, and we couldn't find an 04 mirror to repair
it, because 99-01 are the same, but this specific mirror is a dealer only
I know this guy personally, so he did know we were racing. He's in the
military and has since left me the car tofix until he comes back from
The only thing wrong with this car is the Cat Converter and the mirrors.
And trust me, that's not why it got dusted. So I don't want to argue on
The real reason this 300m got dusted like this is because this transmission
has an insane amount of loss by the time it hits the wheels, turning 250hp
to roughly 160ish. The 300m runs 16s stock on an actual drag strip, where
as the CTS runs 15.6 stock.
The first run, he was ready. On the second run, I didn't think he was
ready, so I held out and waited. Regardless of how much "traffic" you see,
please save the tears. Everyone with a car has done this at some point. My
friend only had a week to enjoy himself before he was shipped back out for
another 2 years, so blame me if I wanted to have fun during the small time
I spent with a friend.
Before I had my CTS, I had a Blazer, which this 300m used to constantly
smoke after about a block of keeping up.
So sorry to all the LHS Forum guys who have a tear in their eye over this.
This is what would happen if a 300m stock lined up with a CTS stock. Just
be glad I had the 3.2 V6, and not the 3.6 V6, or worse, the LS2 / LS6
