Well I finally got a video uploaded of my car since the recent 351W rebuild. The motor now sports Brodix ST5.0R aluminum heads, TFS stage 2 cam, BBK ceramic coated longtube headers with O/R BBK X-pipe, Magnaflow cat-back, and a 750 double pumper carb....etc....

10 second "stock" 5.0 coupe!
First 10 second pass in my project coupe. Has a stock 5.0 intake modified, 10 hole wheels, and tail pipes. Yes it has other stuff done to it, but appears mostly stock outside and under the hood. ******* For those that just don't get it and can't read the replies in the comments section the car isn't bone stock. A bone stock foxbody Mustang won't run into the 10s even with Nitrous. Mid 13s maybe with nothing at all done. Add gear, slicks, Nitrous and 11s are doable as I've done that. The stock in the title is in quotes. It's built to appear stock inside, outside, and under the hood. The car is currently getting a major overhaul and will hopefully run well into the 9s while still appearing mostly stock..."stock". ;) The setup in this video was: Edelbrock Performer 5.0 heads untouched, TMoss ported lower M3 casting stock lower intake, (cut, ported, shortened stock 5.0 upper intake), 70mm TB and EGR, 24lb injectors, Comp nx264 cam, 175HP shot Nitrous, decent suspension setup, 28x9 slicks, 4:10 gears, T5, and hard driving. It's a very basic setup that works.

Hey Guys...I finally got a copy of some passes of the killer THR Black Coupe at the track. I'm sorry for the quality of the vids as they were from a client that was nice enough to share them on a DVD he made. (I was driving so I did't get to video). Hope you enjoy as we've had alot of people asking to see the 10 sec passes to back up the claims. Well here she is! This is a 92 LX Coupe with a Custom THR 347 stroker capable of 8,000 RPM making it's first couple passes at the local track. It's an all motor or (N/A) car, NO Nitrous NO Boost NO POWER ADDED. JUST ALL MOTOR. Keep in mind this is at our elevation of 4200 ft (DA of 6500 ft). This race was a grudge match against a turbo & Nitrous Import that runs low 10's. We had to cut a light to keep him staring at the Tailights!! Check out our other passes to see the rest of the grudge races! Props to an Import for trying to hang with American Muscle - He's Plenty fast running 10's at our altitude to run off from most muscle cars! Just don't mess with a killer THR STANG!! On this episode of Roadkill, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of HOT ROD magazine fly out of town, buy a car from a junkyard, make it run and drive, do burnouts, add Nitrous, drag race twice, almost die, and the auction off the car at the end. The scene begins at CTC Auto Ranch in Denton, Texas, where the guys score a '67 Plymouth Barracuda with a 360 V8, but without a carburetor, interior, glass, or brakes. By the time they sort out a number of other mechanical woes, they're off for some burnouts and some racing at North Star Dragway, right next to the Auto Ranch. Then it's a 300-mile drive to Houston for the NMCA Lone Star Nationals race. But, as you've come to expect from these guys, that doesn't exactly go smoothly. But then they add NOS Nitrous and it makes everything ok as they hang out with Jeff Lutz and Tim Reed from HOT ROD Drag Week right before they have to sell the car and hit the plane home.
