Big Car Jump
Here's the story. It was sitting on the farm, ready to be crushed, as it
was un-running. I diagnosed that the fuel pump was open-circuit. So, after
finding out that it was going to the tip anyway, i got permission to give
it a more fitting ending.
I Spent 2 weeks worth of tinkering & changing the car to how you just saw
it. I know theres been some controversy about the paint work on the car,
post finding out that people are frustrated - But at the end of the day, i
spent the time getting the thing fixed and running - Saving it from the
bull-dozer.. for the time being. If this car was simply just sent to the
wreckers, no one would be watching it it anyway.
It was painted yellow to contrast nicely against the colors of the farm on
camera. Personally, i hate yellow. The camo-paint job was kinda nice
Cheers to all of you that made this happen. It was a LOT of fun.
CrazyBritishBloke was driving the DPP pushing the Car, whilst George was
driving the Honda beside it, to ensure the car stayed on path ! At about
1/4 of the way into the push, with the motor already in N and reving its
tit's off (Throttle cable wired open) - via a rope, Drive was selected,
which caused the car to take off on its own. The rest... is history !
