This big block Chevy engine is getting a trim job on the crankshaft counter weights because we are installing some .400" longer connecting rods with some very light forgerd pistons. We had to remove a total of 400 grams to get the crankshaft to balance correctly. Crank balancing
here's the NEW revised WRX crank getting checked to see how balanced it is. This is just a check up. I didn't have the front key on the crank so it wobbled a little. The back where the flywheel bolts onto the crank is very close to perfection. It will soon get balanced with the OEM FW on it as well as an ACT clutch kit.
