Installing a 2nd row bench seat in 2014 Chevy Express 1500 Cargo Van
Bought a Cargo Van & installed a 2nd row bench seat. Sorry about the movement in the video & calling nuts bolts & bolts nuts, lol.... You know what I meant to say, you get the point. I bought the seat from someone on craigslist & paid $120.00. It came with the seat belts & mounting brackets. It was a pretty good deal. All the others I was finding online ran anywhere from $300-$600 used, without belts & brackets. In the video I mentioned that the center bolt for the lap belt (middle seat belt) was 26 1/2 inches away from the inner bolt on the passenger side. But what I meant to say was from the outer bolt on the passenger side, sorry. The brackets that I have under the vehicle are steel brackets, so they more than likely will rust. So I would recommend either using a non corrosive or rusting type of metal or at least spraying them with some type of rust protection to keep them in good condition. Again sorry about using improper words or not having a more professional style video. I only decided to share this to hopefully help someone out that might have the same idea in mind that I did. If you have a better way of doing yours, by all means please do. If you have an questions, please feel free to ask & I will respond asap. Thanks for watching.
