First trail run after build-up of my jeep with a Cummins 4BT engine. This was at Moab this year at the Easter Jeep Safari. Not a very good video, but somebody wanted to see it actually move. First jeep (white) is a stock wheelbase, whereas mine is stretched to 105"(12" stretch). Second part shows me killing it trying out different gears on the climb.
Moab Easter Jeep Safari 2010 Moab Rim Trail in a Willys Jeep
Easter Jeep Safari 2010. Taking my Willys MB on the Moab Rim Trail. I did
this last year with my JK so I let my buddy the "Troublemaker" from
Illinois have a little fun. Only the V8 engined Jeeps made it to the top of
the Sand Dune at max throttle. The MB did it at half power!! Go to
www.jeepingoffroad.com for the Willys build up and more Jeeping adventures.

"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me
privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of
commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something.
They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so
watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better
not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." -
President Woodrow Wilson
"The Council on Foreign Relations is the establishment. Not only does it
have influence and power in key decision making positions at the highest
levels of government to apply pressure from above, but it also announces
and uses individuals and groups to bring pressure from below, to justify
the high level decisions for converting the U.S. from a sovereign
Constitutional Republic into a servile member state of a one world
dictatorship." - Congressman John Rarick 1971
"The ultimate aim of the CFR is to create a one-world socialist system, and
to make the U.S. an official part of it." - Dan Smoot, former member of the
FBI Headquarters staff in Washington, D.C
"The New World Order will have to be built from the bottom up rather than
from the top down... but in the end run around national sovereignty,
eroding it piece by piece will accomplish much more than the old fashioned
frontal assault." - Council on Foreign Relations member Richard Gardner,
"The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world
government combining super capitalism and communism under the same tent;
all under their control... Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced
there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning,
and incredibly evil in intent." - Congressman Larry P. McDonald, 1976
Diesel Jeep Wrangler
1999 Jeep Wrangler with a 4BT Cummins diesel, NV4500 "5"speed and 3.07
gears. We have put 50,000 miles on it after the conversion and it has ran
GREAT!! 28-32 miles per gallon. Total conversion took us 5 weekends to
complete, fit like a glove with a 2.5" lift. Water to air Intercooler (would do a Air to air next
time). At 70 miles per hour the engine is turning about 1800 rpm (checked
with a pulse meter tach.)I use the original jeep transfer case behind the
NV4500, just needed to change input shaft. I was really aiming for the best
mileage when I built this since we both have long freeway commutes to
Lockers.... are NOT over rated
So about an hour after Don said lockers are over rated. He got stuck a
couple more times. As you can hear Mike has decided to remind him of this.

This Jeep TJ had a 4bt Cummins diesel engine and man it was pretty awesome.
It isn't often you see a rock crawler with a diesel engine. Big credit to
this guy for thinking outside the box.
Maiden Voyage of 1940 Ford COE 4BT Cummins
Had a goal months ago to make the car show in Fairfield, IL on May 28,
2011. Started the engine for the first time that very morning after a hasty
trip to the parts store. Rear brakes were grabbing on the test drive.
Decided to go anyway at the last minute. Made the show, truck was a hit and
had a great time.
93' Suburban 4x4 Cummins 4BT conversion 26 MPG!
The Suburban ran great and had fun driving it. The motor has excellent
torque and driveability. pressure. The Exhaust is a 3" with a basic diesel muffler.
Just took on a 1,900 mile trip and got the best of 26 MPG! That is without
an Intercooler but will get
one soon. Go to 4btswaps.com to see other vehicles like this.
I do not recommend this engine swap for an everyday driver only because of
the vibrations are to shaky. If I were to do it again I would install a 5.9
Cummins. Again, the power and torque were not an issue and the fuel mileage
increase definitely paid off but the vibrations at idle took some of the
fun out of it. Just my opinion is all....
However, I wouldn't hesitate to install a 3.9 in a toy like a jeep.
