The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro V6 sits, engine ticking, in the middle of a dangerous intersection of perception.
Heading in from one side is Muscle Car Blvd. Dotted with neon signs and its pavement scarred with melted rubber, this road is enthusiastically patrolled by car-guy elitists. It bears a sign reading "V8s only." The quick-stop oil change location is long closed, "DIY 4-Life" spray-painted across the dusty windows. Entry-level sport coupes tread lightly here.
Dead ahead lies Vanity Lane. It is patrolled by secretaries, retired secretaries and the fashionistas to whom a car is no different from a handbag — a world where style is substance. Here one little faux pas, one misguided association with, say, a mullet haircut, will shatter the illusion of high style. It's here that you find the entry-level Corvette with automatic transmission, the old Lexus SC coupe and the ever-lasting Mustang V6.
4Runner 4Ever: 2010 Toyota 4Runner Trail Grade Full Test
2010 Toyota 4Runner Trail Grade Full Test:
Climbing up the near-vertical dirt trail in the all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner
Trail Grade seems pretty easy, at least until we get to the hill-climb's
crest. The trail is actually too steep to walk up and the front tire on the
driver side starts losing traction and the front end begins to slide off
the trail toward a drop-off that borders each side of the incline.
After stopping the SUV on the hill's face (and taking a few deep breaths),
we engage the push-button Crawl Control on its most aggressive setting,
grab on tight to the steering wheel and take our foot completely off the
brake. This allows the Crawl Control to modulate throttle and traction
control at each wheel to maximize grip up the hill at a slow and controlled
pace, allowing us to just focus on steering away from the cliff's edge.
A few short moments later, we crest the trail's lip with ease.
M SUV? 2010 BMW X5 M @ the Track
2010 BMW X5 M Full Test
After driving the 2010 BMW X5 M, there were numerous subtitles for this
story bouncing around in our head. Because it was only a handful of years
ago, when BMW introduced the 2004 X5 4.8is, that it said, "There will never
be an M version of the X5," we were tempted to write, "Never Say Never."
One blast down the drag strip in this 555-horsepower breadbox in Monte
Carlo Blue had us shouting, "12-second SUV!" If we believed the rumor (and
we don't) that one of the primary reasons for the X5 M's existence is to
satisfy the conspicuously well-funded market among the mobsters in Russia,
then we could've run with "From Russia With Love."
Finally, one serene drive home on L.A.'s notoriously poorly constructed
freeways where we discovered this X5 M's ride was far better than that of
our long-term 2008 BMW X5 4.8i almost compelled us to put down, "Dr. Jekyll
and Mrs. Hyde."
Smokin Camaro: Hennessey HPE550 Supercharged Chevy Camaro SS
FOR FULL HENNESSEY ARTICLE @ INSIDELINE.COM:
Automotive lust in America means blown Camaros. You know, like the red
'69s on every cover of Car Craft. A big BDS 10-71 Supercharger sticking through the hood and massive
M/T drag slicks under tubs in back. Let the rest of the world dream of
Ferraris, Lamborghinis and dinky little British two-seaters. In this
country speed doesn't look like that.
It looks like this.
This is the Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) "HPE550" supercharged
2010 Camaro SS. That's
right, it's a blown Camaro. The first blown 2010
Chevy Camaro. And that
makes it the very newest version of a true American icon. Ranks right up
there with the Beach Boys, buckets of deep fried chicken and our
incomprehensible Internal Revenue Code.
Be proud of it. We Americans invented the greatest car ever: The loud,
tire-smoking, V8-powered, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive muscle machine.
And we should celebrate the accomplishment just as John Hennessey is, by

FULL Camaro COVERAGE @
The last thing General Motors needs right now is to appear as if it's stuck
in the past, creating gas-guzzling cars that are out of step with what the
federal government thinks is the future.
So even when Chevrolet steps into the way-back machine to unveil the
426-horspower retro-inflected 2010 Chevy Camaro SS, it's careful to
mention that this muscle/pony car is the "sports car for the 21st century"
and emphasizes the Camaro's fuel economy ratings
more than its 0-60-mph performance.
So we did what had to be done. We dropped an asphalt-melting burnout in the
parking lot of a former seminary that was of such destructive length that
the guys hired by Chevy to prep and clean the Camaros had time to wander over
and say, "Stop. You're done."
Had a Dairy Queen been available we would have laid a patch in front of
that, too. Look, man. We've been waiting for years for the arrival of this
car; there will be time to talk about balance and the quality of the
interior materials later.

2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Drive & Review: The Fastest Daily Driver Ever
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Camaro ZL1 is the fastest and
most powerful production Camaro ever built by Chevrolet.
But you probably already knew that. What you might not know is that this
almost 600 horsepower car is really a
pussy cat to drive. In fact if it got better gas mileage you could easily
use it as a daily commuter. It is that easy and relaxed to drive even
though under the hood is the supercharged beating heart out of the Cadillac
CTS-V. In this review we get to know the fastest production Camaro that GM has ever built by
spending a week with it and using it as a daily driver.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 vs 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition! - Head 2 Head Ep. 52
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman travels to Barber
Motorsports Park for a head to head matchup with the brand new Chevy Camaro Z/28 and a well
known heavyweight, the Nissan GT-R. But not just any GT-R, the 2014 Track
Edition which packs a 545 hp twin-turbo
V-6, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, sticky Dunlop tires and AWD
traction into a car without rear seats. The Z/28, by way of contrast,
features a massive 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8, a 6-speed manual
transmission, and tail-out RWD. While it does still have rear seats, nearly
every other non-essential component has been removed. Moreover, the Z28's
tires might be even stickier! The front ones, enormous 305-sections, are
certainly the widest tires ever bolted to a production car. Both cars are
phenomenal, and both cars make rational men scream, "Gimme!" But only one
can come out on top. Watch and find out!
Head 2 Head appears every fourth Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel.

[HD] 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT - Test Drive
The intro screen explains it all, it was very enjoyable. For $23,000 you
can't beat it; the interior was comfortable and gauges were well displayed
and the exterior is, well, just take a look. My only gripe with Chevy is
the sharply sloping front windshield, but that's something you can adjust
to over time. So go take a test drive for yourself, it will be well worth
your time... even the V6 models.
This was filmed with my Canon Vixia HG10 camcorder. Accessories include a
Rode VideoMic and a Canon WD-H43 .7x Wide Angle Lens.
EDIT: Sorry fellas, I mislabeled this as the RS package. I, personally, am
not up to date on the new Camaro facts and it is in fact
the LS V6. For some reason I had in my mind RS V6 (makes no sense, even the
old RS' were V8's. So for that I apologize, but you got to admit it is
still a beautiful machine for $23k.
