Chevy Performance's LSX454 - Big Block Power in a Small Block Package!
Using the adage from '60's musclecars that "bigger is better", the famous 427 CID L88 was soon surpassed by a bigger, more powerful 454 CID engine in various configurations. Today, we've followed the same path with the Chevrolet Performance LSX454. The rugged LSX454 is all-new and designed for serious power in the 21st century. The amazing thing is that this big cubic inch package takes up the same physical space as a factory LS engine. With a carburetor and a high-flow GMPP LSX-LS7 intake manifold, the LSX454 will produce about 620 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 600 lb/ft of torque at 4800 rpm.
