1956 Ford Victoria - Nice Classic with Original Interior
I thought you would like a look at this nice 1956 Ford Victoria. It's looking real good in it's two-tone blue and white paint and matching original interior. It's powered by what appears to be the original 292 Thunderbird V8. It's got a little wear here and there, but it will make someone a fine cruiser. Dad's Ford
Dad took me for a spin in his 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria. After stopping at Buffalo Bill's Mansion and Scout's Rest Ranch, I ask him for a quick demonstration of the Ford's engine power.
Update: A few viewers have kindly suggested (or rudely insisted) that the engine is misfiring. Since I don't know much about cars, this one in particular, I asked Dad the last time I talked to him. He told me that it was not misfiring, and that the rough idle was characteristic of the Y-block engines Ford was using for these cars. He did inform me, however, that there is an Exhaust leak, and that may be what people are hearing and mistaking for a misfire.
He then said, "I know that explanation won't be good enough for some people who are convinced my engine just HAS to be missing. I don't care; it runs well enough for my tastes."

From her strong running 272 Cubic Inch Ford V8 to her VERY RARE 3 speed with OVERDRIVE three on the tree Transmission. (SHE IS FUN)! When you pull into a car show just about anyplace, you will probably be the only 55 Ford Sunliner to be seen!! These Fords are becoming VERY SOUGHT AFTER and for a very good reason!! If this were a certain GM product a (1955 CHEVROLET) convertible this car could command above 6 figures. BUT she is a FORD and just now becoming VERY MUCH APPRECIATED in the collector car market! These cars have wonderful lines as did the PACKARDS and the big LINCOLNS of the 30s. Just a few short years back you could buy a big Packard or Lincoln for one third of what a big Cadillac cost but NOT TODAY, THINGS ARE CHANGING!! This 1955 Ford Sunliner Convertible is a BEAUTIFUL car that is going to make somebody VERY HAPPY!! As this car like the Packard's and the big Lincolns, in the last 18 Months or so, has started to make a move toward BIG MONEY!!! This car is very straight with very good paint and near perfect chrome. The interior is almost as new and even the original radio still works. She is truly a very fine example of a very rare car!!
