I put my wife to work on her Monte Carlo project. We are temporarily installing the original 305 HO because the ZZ3 that was in this car is being modified for use in my turbo Iroc.

heres a video of my friends 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS with a swapped LS1 408. Cammed and stroked. T56 6 Speed car now. Ford 9" posi rear end. Eibach springs, Bilstein Shocks. 1 7/8" primary headers. this is the first time the car moved under its own power backing out of the garage.

First start on new rebuilt 305 engine from 1984 Z28 Camaro
This is the first start that made this engine for several years. This 305 L69 has been rebuilt since 2006, and started the 07/23/2009. Big Thanks to Sam and Fred for mechanics !

Rebuilt 305 Small Block Chevy FOR SALE
I just rebuilt this 305ci Small Block Chevy out of a 1984 chevy 1/2 ton pickup truck. This motor is for sale I am asking $750. Price is negotiable. The engine was completely disassembled and all parts where cleaned. I replaced the rear main seals, main bearings, rod bearings, oil pan gasket, piston rings, timing set, head gaskets, valve stem seals, valve cover gasket, carburetor, Exhaust manifolds (with headers), intake manifold, water pump, fuel pump, thermostat, and a couple of other things but thats most of the major stuff. THE ENGINE TEST STAND AND RADIATOR DO NOT COME WITH THE ENGINE. I am only selling the engine with carb, headers, and starter, and so on. Drews new '86 Monte Carlo
Drew just bought this beast for 300 Bucks! :) Ever since the man was a kid, he's had an 86 Luxury Sport that he got from his dad. That things got some problems at this point, no reverse, possibly other trans problems, and the engine's got no power. started it the one time and it was messed up. So he purchased this beast to throw the engine and trans in his LS :) so he can get that beast back on the road, and cruise in luxury. The Carb on this is a little messed up, but thats not that hard to fix. oh yeah, also, the stupid ass, trying to look cool, Super Sport rims are NOT going on his Good Monte. He's gonna have the awesome looking stock steel wheels :)

400hp 305 ported heads custom camshaft 850hp holley dp 9.5:1 compression, just spare parts i had laying around. file fit moly rings stock crank and stock pistons with 80,000 miles just new bearings. I built this engine for the burnout competition for car craft, after car craft in goes the big block. just hope i finish painting it....

The engine is a 383 stroker with a F1 Procharger, Procharger air to air Intercooler, Scat 4340 forged steel rotating assembly with blower pistons (8:1 compression), AFR 227 Chevy race heads (75cc combustion), Offset rocker arms, Comp custom grind cam .650 lift, Super Victor intake with a 1" spacer on top of that, 7 quart oil pan with high volume oil pump, engine put together with all ARP bolts. Big Stuff 3 fuel injection management, 90lb. injectors, 90mm throttle body, 12 bolt rear end with 373 gears, Stud girdle, C-clip eliminator, Welded axle tubes, Wilwood 4 piston racing calipers all around racing rotors all around, line lock. TH350 transmission with TCI 4500 stall speed converter, 16 gallon fuel cell all with aircraft aluminum grade hardware, 200GPH Weldon fuel pump, battery in trunk, 10 point roll cage, Auto Meter 10,000 RPM tach, Auto Meter Cobalt series gauges, racing seats with 4 point harness belts, MSD ignition and Msd box, 1 3/4" Hooker Super Compition headers, 3" Exhaust with H pipe and Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers, fire extinguisher. 35,000 obo Only 150 miles on motor!!
