Eternal bonds, layers and rings of nature evoke timeless perfection in the intricate systems that comprise the symbiotic relationship between man and machine. Well the four rings of Audi represent such a thesis and have led to the manifestation of their first open top super car. The magnificence of the V10 engine puts the R8 V10 Spyder in the same conversation with Porsche 911 turbo, Aston Martin Vantage V12 and Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. After all, Audi has dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans this decade, so why not bring that winning spirit to public roads?
2011 Audi A8 4.2 quattro: Big Love
Ask any car-guy on the street about Audi and the R8 will likely be the
first thing out of his mouth. Cool as that car is, however, it's not the
most significant model in Ingolstadt's lineup. That title belongs to the
A8, the brand's aspirational big sedan. While it won't deliver huge numbers
on monthly sales charts or boil the blood like its mid-engine
super-sibling, the A8 leads the way for the rest of Audi's range in terms
of technology, luxury and design; it's what cars like the A4 want to be
when they grow up. The all-new fourth-generation A8 upholds this role, as
we recently discovered around the Mediterranean resort town of Estepona,
2011 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG "Glamour Footage"
Sometimes bigger isn't always better. For 2011, AMG is introducing its own
special version of a new Mercedes-Benz V8 engine that produces more power
while getting better fuel economy -- an astounding feat, considering that
increasing either one usually decreases the other. Replacing the normally
aspirated 6.3-liter V8 in the $138,875 S63 AMG sedan, the new
smaller-displacement 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 features twin turbochargers, direct fuel injection, start/stop
technology and multi-spark ignition and produces 536 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft.
Jaguar C-X75 at Jay Leno's Garage
It's the eve of the LA Auto Show and I find myself back at Jay Leno's
garage. This place is magical; it turns grown men and women into children
at the daycare. With over 135 cars and 100 bikes, including a fire truck,
you can pick your cotton candy and play all day, or all week. Today, we're
enjoying Jaguar's C-X75 Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV).
Audi R8 Spyder massive crash

This is an unbelievable view of a car crash happening at a high rate of
speed. Please drive carefully!
In 2011 while on the Bullrun rally I witnessed a massive accident unfold
right in front of me. The driver of the Audi R8 Spyder was changing lanes
and did not see the Mercedes SL55 next to him and made contact with the car
at a high rate of speed. Once he made contact with the Mercedes the R8
bounced off and lost control causing him to slam into the back of a Honda.
Both the Audi and the Honda entered the fast lane where the car I was
riding in was traveling and we came extremely close to being tangled up in
the accident as well.
The Mercedes that was involved in the accident was owned by Ice T and he
pulled over to check the damage to his car and was able to continue
driving. The cause of the accident according to the police report was a
blown out tire and the Audi R8 was a total write off.

Audi R8 PD GT850 Prior Design - Start up + Acceleration Sounds!
This video shows 2 amazing cars tuned by Prior Design: the Audi R8 PD GT850
Prior Design and the Porsche Panamera turbo PRIOR600. The R8 PD GT850 is without a doubt
one of the most outlandish Audi R8 tunes currently on the market.
Prior Design offers a more muscular appearance to the Porsche Panamera turbo "Prior600″. The diffuser has been
redesigned and reveals a new Exhaust.
Precisely the Exhaust system was
changed by the German tuner, up to now a sports Exhaust system in stainless steel.
At the parking lot of the famous Nürburgring gas station, I have recorded
this amazing supercar duo: the Aston Martin DBS and a Lamborghini Gallardo

2010 Mercedes-Benz Biome Concept
PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO THIS CHANNEL:
At the 2010 Los Angeles Design Challenge, the designers from the
Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad, California, surprised
everyone with a revolutionary vision. Taking their inspiration from nature,
they designed a vehicle which is fully integrated into the ecosystem, from
the moment of its creation right through to the end of its service life.
The Mercedes-Benz BIOME Concept grows in a completely organic environment
from seeds sown in a nursery. Out on the road the car emits pure oxygen,
and at the end of its lifespan it can be simply composted or used as
"As the inventor of the motor car, we wanted to illustrate the vision of
the perfect vehicle of the future, which is created and functions in
complete symbiosis with nature. The Mercedes-Benz BIOME Concept is a
natural technology hybrid, and forms part of our earth's ecosystem. It
grows and thrives like the leaves on a tree" according to Hubert Lee, Head
of the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad. This year the
competition had called for the creation of a vision of a safe and
comfortable 2+2 compact car featuring good handling and a first-class
design, and weighing only 1,000 lbs (around 454 kg/kerb weight).
Mercedes-Benz symbiosis - a partnership with nature
The Mercedes-Benz BIOME Concept symbiosis vehicle is made from an
ultralight material called BioFibre and tips the scales at just 875.5 lbs
(around 394 kg). This material is significantly lighter than metal or
plastic, yet more robust than steel. BioFibre is grown from proprietary DNA
in the Mercedes-Benz nursery, where it collects energy from the sun and
stores it in a liquid chemical bond called BioNectar4534. As part of this
process, the vehicle is created from two seeds: The interior of the BIOME
grows from the DNA in the Mercedes star on the front of the vehicle, while
the exterior grows from the star on the rear. To accommodate specific
customer requirements, the Mercedes star is genetically engineered in each
case, and the vehicle "grows" when the genetic code is combined with the
seed capsule. The wheels are grown from four separate seeds.
The Mercedes-Benz BIOME Concept is powered by BioNectar4534, which is
stored in the BioFibre material of the chassis, interior, and wheels. In
addition, Mercedes-Benz has developed a technology to equip trees with
special receptors which can collect the excess solar energy and turn it
into BioNectar4534. This creates a direct link with nature's energy sources
and acts as an incentive to cover mobility energy requirements through more
trees and at the same time maintain natural resources. Like plants, the
Mercedes-Benz symbiosis vehicle also produces oxygen, thereby contributing
to improving air quality. At the end of its service life, the Mercedes-Benz
BIOME can be fully composted or used as building material. Thanks to the
exclusive use of green technologies, the BIOME vehicle thus blends
seamlessly into the ecosystem.
