The engine block was starting to have surface rust so I had to pant it. I went on the cheap with Dupli-Color engine paint. Would have liked to have go with eastwoods. But im on a budget. Should have the rest of the parts to put the engine back together with in the next two weeks. Sorry for the crappy video!

Me rambleing. Got the pistons in, having issues with the stud on the #4
main cap under the oil pump not clearing the oil pump. Got the wrong
engine mounts, 1970 motor mounts wont fit on a 1992 engine block. The HEI
distributor instructions tell you not to run a high vol oil pump with the
distributor. Yep I'm having fun!

Just an update. Pulled the high volume oil pump out and put the standard
back in. Painted the valve cover, push rod cover and oil pan. Installed
the water pump and thermotat housing. Finaly have the motor mounts ready
to go and just need to order the bolts for them.

Finely, I have the engine back into the truck! Need to put the radiator
hoses, fuel line, fuel pump. I will post the video of the first start!

Ford 300 six build- first run
This is the initial run of my 300 six build. It's got a Clifford intake,
500 cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel, Crane 901 torque cam, split EFI manifolds,
Cloyes adjustable timing set in advanced position, 9.0:1 compression with
~.038 quench, mild port, smoothed chambers with clearance around Exhaust valve and all necessary machine work.
Should be approaching 400 lb ft torque.
Ford 300 engine buildup
This is a description of the buildup of my ford 300 engine. My goal is to
increase the air flow of the overall engine, not so much for mass airflow,
but smooth airflow for overall power and tourque. My hope is that i can
get power similar to a stock ford FE block engine.(352, 360, 390) I hope
to get similar tourque, however I think it may be harder to match up with
horse power. We will see.
Modified 300 I6 first run
First run of the 300 after eliminating the 1 barrel feedback Carter YFA
carburetor. Now has Holley 465cfm Carb, Offenhauser DP intake, EFI Exhaust manifolds, DUI HEI distributor, Walker
y-pipe, Thrush welded muffler, and more for the future.

cracked frame and is for sale for $300 With spare frame sections and axle.
Truck has an MSD Blaster ignition coil, Grant steering wheel, Sunpro tach
that's not hooked up, APC fog lights, ghetto pedal covers (Rubber pedal
covers fell off), Edelbrock air filter that needs an adapter, new fuel
pump, new distributor cap/rotor, new plugs and wires, 4 speed floor shift,
new brakes, new brake lines, and more.
