The engine block was starting to have surface rust so I had to pant it. I went on the cheap with Dupli-Color engine paint. Would have liked to have go with eastwoods. But im on a budget. Should have the rest of the parts to put the engine back together with in the next two weeks. Sorry for the crappy video!

Me rambleing. Got the pistons in, having issues with the stud on the #4 main cap under the oil pump not clearing the oil pump. Got the wrong engine mounts, 1970 motor mounts wont fit on a 1992 engine block. The HEI distributor instructions tell you not to run a high vol oil pump with the distributor. Yep I'm having fun!

Just an update. Pulled the high volume oil pump out and put the standard back in. Painted the valve cover, push rod cover and oil pan. Installed the water pump and thermotat housing. Finaly have the motor mounts ready to go and just need to order the bolts for them.





Ford 300 six build- first run
This is the initial run of my 300 six build. It's got a Clifford intake, 500 cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel, Crane 901 torque cam, split EFI manifolds, Cloyes adjustable timing set in advanced position, 9.0:1 compression with ~.038 quench, mild port, smoothed chambers with clearance around Exhaust valve and all necessary machine work. Should be approaching 400 lb ft torque.

Ford 300 Inline 6 Rebuild Part 6 "Cold Start"
Ok! It runs! Haven't had a good chance to make a video yet, until now. I have been driving the truck to and from work for about a week now and I have had no problems. This is the cold start of my rebuild. I have some tweaking that needs to be done to the engine. The Exhaust is make shift and my welds suck, so no making fun of them. 1976 FORD 250ci Inline 6
This is my new Project i picked up for $50 bucks ,im rebuilding the motor and trans and slaming it in my 1979 toyota Mini Truck , Just a short video of whats going on with my mini truck , this motor came out of an 1976 Ford Granada , the motor is a Inline 6 250 ci with a 1bbl carb , ive got some goodies for it all msd igintion system for the most part im keeping the motor stock , in have plans to run a turbo from a T-bird with a v6 or some thing with aleast 10 pounds of Boost , im tryin to do my best too keep ya'll updated but funds are runnig low , hope to have the motor running soon but i have to mod the oil pan to clear the tir rod and front crossmember

This video was made to show how a street modified inline 6 can run. The cam and compression are street fuel friendly. Car weighs in at 3600 lbs empty. 2.56 rear gears Mileage is 20 MPG going 75-80 MPH I have owned this car since 2004. It sat in the garage waiting for a purpose. It had a 194 inline and a powerglide trans with 3.08 gears. In may of 2012 we decided to get it ready to take to the Inliners International Convention in Carson City Nevada. The 194 and trans were pulled. The 250 Dyno engine was installed. This engine was a Dyno mule to test different cams, heads, intakes and a turbo in my other videos. It has over 120 full throttle runs put to it on the Dyno. The trans is a Richmond non overdrive 5 speed. Rear gears were swapped to 2.56 for highway running. The engine is a 250 Chevy with flat top pistons, balanced lower end, offy intake. Compression is 9.5 to 1. The head has extensive work. Bolt in lumps are installed along with 1.94/ 1.6 valves. The head is also ported. Cam is a Clifford 270 hydraulic. This engine Dynoed at 285 HP with a 4 BBL and Clifford intake. The Exhaust consists of Hooker headers, dual 2.5" collectors merged together into a Magnaflow 3 chamber muffler, the tailpipe is 2.5". Since installation the car was driven to Carson City at the end of May without trouble. And up to this point has been driven 5500 miles. Checkout my website http://www.12bolt.com/ . 1996 Ford F-150 XL 4.9L I6 Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 66K
1996 Ford F-150 XL This F-150 is equipped with the entry 300 series 4.9L OHV Inline 6 Cyl which only puts out a lame 145 HP through a 4 Speed auto with OD. Despite the low HP, it churns out lots of low end torque, 265 ft-lbs @ 2000 RPM which is almost a much as the 5.0L V8 of it's time. Do a quick wiki of this engine as it's quite interesting!! It was ( Still is ) used in most non diesel UPS trucks & baggage tow tractors at airports.
