How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383
stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are
electric - but I digress LOL).
MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up
the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part
you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust
This whole series was shot by myself with my iPhone so presenting, filming
and assembling could all be done smoother but "ir-regardless" I hope it

1965 Chevelle Engine Upgrades V8TV
http://www.v8tvshow.com - Our '65 Chevelle drove in on a low-performance
350 cubic inch Chevy replacement engine that was reported to have less than
10,000 miles on it. Initially, we contemplated doing a late-model EFI
swap on this car, but then we thought we'd take a look at what we had and
see what kind of shape it was in. Turns out that the 350 is a parts-store
type replacement engine with 4-bolt mains and a very clean bottom end.
The cast iron heads and cam were not very exciting, so we used the Dynomation engine simulation
software to whip up a new recipe. In this installment, we clean up the
engine, repaint the short block, and install a new Comp Cams Xtreme Energy
cam, lifters, timing set, new Holley performance aluminum cylinder heads, a
Weiand Action Plus intake manifold, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor, some
Flowtech headers, and a Holley 670 Street Avenger camshaft. Some of the
parts we already had like the MSD unit, the intake, and the carb, but the
cam and heads are new. Here's how it went.

1974 Chevy Nova hatchback is a Beast!!
This is a 1974 chevy nova with the 350 motor from my other video(check it
out). It was home grown in my dads shop in the back yard. Body work,
motor, paint, everything you can think of was done in house! Far from
Pro's just weekend warriors!!! The motor has holley carb, intake, 270
crane cam, headers, and straight pipes. Car has B&M shifter, and Greg
Welds wrapped in Mickey Thompsons, homemade traction bars, homemade,
One-Off rear fenders(rubber was slightly wide and didn't want to tub this
time), underskirts and bumpers pushed in to look like 73's. The other
Nova is my start up project!! Brother is getting down next. Let me know
what you think!!!!!! Sorry about the quality, its just a digital cam.
More to come.
Building a 350 chevy part 1
I'm building a 350ci Chevy small block for my 1978 Nova. This is the first
video about what parts are going into it. It was pulled from a 1978 Chevy
C20 but I do not know for if that was the original block. Should be making
a little over 300hp and a lot more torque, probably 350-375 ft-lbs.
This will be only part one of a series I am filming on how I assembled the
engine, put it in the car, and the tune/first firing.
Check out my site at http://emildavis.info for more info on my nova. I
also have more videos of it in my channel.

In this video I show how to adjust your valves to bring the lash
