Many of you have asked about what's wrong with this engine. In this video we find out as much as we're going to find out about that very question as I end up pulling one of the connecting rod bearings along with one of the main bearings. You'll have to watch the video to see how that turned out. Here's some useful links for you. My friend Ryan Coffey, who was the former owner of the truck, lost his life to cancer last year. His parents brought me the truck and a new engine so that I could make it run again. I was honored to do the job, and make this video series for you. I present this series as a tribute to Ryan and his family. I know you guys like watching my engine replacement videos, and I'm glad to know that this series will get some views and get Ryan's name out there. Ryan loved my show and having his truck featured in my videos, it's been in 3 before this series came out. I think this is a great way to honor him and his memory. Here's some some links to those videos as well as other stuff you might find useful. We inch ever closer to completion. Things are going a lot smoother now that the engine is mated up to the transmission. Well except for some of the bolts I drop but that can happen with any job. Sit back and enjoy as we move ever closer to the end of our journey. Here's some links and stuff.
