JRSC ITR Build Up - Chapter 1
This clip shows the progression of my JRSC supercharged B18c-R DC2 Honda from it's humble beginnings as a turquoise Vti-R to how it look today.
This movie has a bit of a sad ending. Bye bye B18c-R.
Thats ok though, chapter 2 shows the re-power with a JE/Eagle forged B18c and a bit more Boost + methanol :)
Credit to Adam Plews for the initial build, my part comes later
Enjoy.

**** For all the haters of the rear bumper, this video is actually getting pretty old now, the holed bumper is long gone, now replaced by a plain 98 spec. ****
Installing The Pistons
Installing the pistons in my 5.4l for my F150. I used a Sealed Power ring and piston set from Napa. I wanted to go with forged, but my engine guy told me that in a street/strip block, forged pistons will actually deteriorate the block faster and are much noisier.

Remember this guy? Yep since I'm moving I had my scrap picked up and this was still in the shop collecting dust so I decided to do the tear down on it, I'm glad I did because I got a nice little keepsake out of it. BTW don't yell at me for using my impact lets face it, this engine is scrap!

How To Torque Cylinder Head Bolts - EricTheCarGuy
How To Torque Cylinder Head Bolts - EricTheCarGuy
http://www.ericthecarguy.com/
Well this was a fun one to make. I believe I covered everything but if you feel I haven't please let me know in the comments below as well as any tips you might have to add as well. I'm not trying to make a big deal about "pound feet" or "foot pounds" I'm just trying to put that out there, the important thing is that you get the proper torque and get the job done right in my opinion, what you decide to call it is up to you.

This is part of the full length 'video manual' of the B18B timing belt video. I thought I would take this part out because I've had a few requests about adjusting valves on this engine.
