This is the final video covering the restoration of a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am

factory all wheel disc brakes, 12 bolt posi-traction rear end, and an
overhauled and detailed 390 ci motor. Every nut and bolt has been gone

Nicely done restoration, freshly rebuilt (upgraded power) "T/A 6.6" Pontiac
400 cid V-8, close ratio 4-speed transmission, posi-traction rear diff,
beautiful Starlite black base coat/clear paint w/ new decals and hood bird,
WS6 special performance package, 15" X 8" snowflake wheels, 4-wheel power
disc brakes, fast ratio power steering, new black bucket seat interior,
factory center console, formula steering wheel with tilt steering column,

There was a strong headwind that day, and the clutch was almost finished,
so the car was slowed down a little. the car should run 11.0s on a good

1979 Pontiac Trans Am 301 NA fresh build, first startup & cam break in.
Completely restored to stock, using all stock parts sources in the US.
Upper hose sucked flat from lack of coolant and possibly a bad (new STANT)
rad cap not letting fluid in. Has been resolved, purring like a kitten now.
Slight clacking noise is PCV and a bad alternator bearing
