1989 turbocharged chrysler lebaron 2.2 back to life--GOTSPL--
its the phantom. Been down for 11 months and its back ---Runs 14-15psi fwd
i snapped in the middle of racing the front bracebar that attaches to the
trans mount with the engine torge.it was originally welded so we drilled
6-3/4" bolts through the frame and it holds. then shortly afterwards the
steering collum snapped in half while racing so it took us 11 months to
figure out how to replace it with another model lebaron which doesnt come
with blinkers or the right harness on the collum. When we cut off the other
harness it effected the brake lights so were trying to fix it.
1989 Chrysler LeBaron in-depth tour
This is a video of my 1989 Chrysler LeBaron. The color is light pewter. It
has a 2.2L turbo II engine, 16" lace
wheels, leather, and an Infinity 1 audio system.
I thought it might be interesting to put up a video of this car as well,
although it isn't in a as good shape as all of my other cars are/have been.
The car was hit by a truck during the summer of 2008 while it was parked
alongside a street. I decided to keep it and restore it. Because it has had
a complete lack of maintenance making the car technically sound took some
time. There were many thing that were worn and had never seen any upkeep at
all. Furthermore, I decided to have the engine swapped to a turbo version, which turned out to be a very bad
ide because the revised engine broke down after two rides because of a bad
I didn't have it resprayed yet, partly because I first want to be sure that
this engine WILL keep on running.
Enjoy the video!
1994 Chrysler Lebaron GTC Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 1994 Chrysler Lebaron GTC. I
take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car
while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling
cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it,
start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough
tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall
appreciation of the vehicle.
NEW TOY - Classic 1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron
Did you think Joe would be able to keep a spot in his collection vacant for
long?? Of course not! Here is the footage from picking up his new toy, a
1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron. Apart from a repaint in 2005, this is all
original, and the condition and paperwork of the car is astounding.
Unfortunately, the day we picked up this monster it was extremely windy,
which pretty much made the audio useless. However, Joe and I did a voice
over commentary for this video so that you can get the details of this sick
ride. Take a look at my previous videos to see the car he sold (1968
Chrysler 300 also a 4-door hardtop) to help finance this "new venture".
