I saw this Porsche 965 group C car in action on track during the 2014
Ayrton Senna Tribute at Imola racetrack. The car (chassis #104) was built
in 1983 and bought by Joest Racing which used the car in many races between
1983 and 1986. In 1984 the 956-104 took part in the 1000km of Nurburgring
Nordschelife with Ayrton Senna, Henri Pescarolo and Stefan Johansson.
The Porsche 956 is moved by a 2.65L turbocharged Flat-6 engine which is able to
produce around 635 hp. Nowdays the car is owned by Alexander Seibold.

Porsche 956 group C Sound
On last weekend during the 20° Ayrton Senna Tribute at Imola Circuit, I
could filming the beautiful Porsche 956 Group C of Alexander Seibold. With
this car Henri Pescarolo, Stefan Johansson and a young Ayrton Senna, takes
part at 1984 1000km of Nurburgring and finishing, despite some problems, at
Lo scorso fine settimana, durante il 20° Ayrton Senna Tribute al Circuito
di Imola, ho avuto modo di filmare la splendida Porsche 956 Gruppo C di
Alexander Seibold. Con questa vettura Henri Pescarolo, Stefan Johansson ed
un giovane Ayrton Senna, hanno partecipato alla 1000 km del Nurburgring
nel 1984 e si classificarono, nonostante alcuni problemi, in 8° posizione.

956 - thanks for the comment, corrected the title from 917 to 956, i guess
it's true no 917 coupe was ever turbo.
Also the 917 had a peculiar cockpit with the main gauges elevated in a
separated encasing behind the steering wheel.

Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD
Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original
Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann.
Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l
In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme
nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen
2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf.
Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug
umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und
deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad".
Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf
Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde
von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan
Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei

Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach Package - SOUND!
This time I've filmed a beautiful grey Porsche 918 Spyder with Weissach
Package during a good cause event in The Netherlands. The Weissach Package
gives the 918 a high-performance upgrade to the standard vehicle that
includes the deletion of some interior amenities and addition of
lighter-weight carbon fiber appointments, magnesium wheels, flame-resistant
upholstery, racing belts and aerodynamic aids and a weight reduction of
approx. 41 kg (90 lbs).

24 Hours of Le Mans 2014 - Battle of Giants
Once again, the roads near the French city of Le Mans will turn in a
circuit of a special kind. For the 91st time, known greats of the
motorsport scene meet to show their skills at the famous 24-hour race of Le
Mans. At least since the 70´s the endurance race enjoys cult status. With
the flair of yesterday and the technical state of today, the race offers an
unbeatable mix of adrenaline, excitement and an unique atmosphere.
Porsche 917 at LeMans
The Porsche 917 is a racecar that gave Porsche its first overall wins at
the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970 and 1971. Powered by the Type 912 flat-12
engine of 4.5, 4.9, or 5 litres, the 917/30 variant was capable of a 0-62
mph (100 km/h) time of 2.3 seconds, 0--124 mph (200 km/h) in 5.3 seconds,
and a top speed of over 240 mph (390 km/h).
There are at least nine variants of the 917. The original version had a
medium-long tail with flippers, but had considerable handling problems at
high speed because of poor bodywork aerodynamics. The Weyer-Gulf team then
experimented with a shorter tail, and solved the aerodynamic and handling
problems at testing sessions at the Österreichring, at the expense of some
top speed. Porsche adopted these changes into the 917K, which dominated in
the 1970 and 1971 World Sportscar Championships. In 1971, a variant of the
917K appeared with an altered tail and shark fins, which together reduced
drag and maintained down force. These versions produced around 620 bhp.
There were also streamlined versions for Le Mans (1970 917L and 1971 917LH)
that were 20 mph faster in a
straight line. In 1971 Jo Siffert raced an open-top 917PA Spyder (normally
aspirated) in the 1971 CanAm series.
There is also the "Pink Pig" aerodynamic research version (917/20), and the
turbocharged 917/10 and 917/30 CanAm
Spyders. Porsche 917s also raced in the European Interseries in various
configurations. In the 1973 Can-Am series, the turbocharged version Porsche 917/30 developed
1,100 bhp (820 kW).
The 917 is one of the most iconic sports racing cars of all time, largely
for its high speeds and high power outputs, and was made into a movie star
by Steve McQueen in his 1971 film Le Mans.
