This is part 2 of the other quick vid I uploaded on removing the stock headlight. There was another bracket closer to the fender side of the headlight housing that is also a real pain to get to, i forgot to mention that in the first video. The JDM headlights I got did not come with any bulbs or sockets, only the internal Fog light bulb which is amber. You have two bulbs in the stock corner lens, a running light and a running light/blinker combo bulb (both single filament). You need to use the stock blinker socket for the rest of the blinker circuitry to flash correctly, but the running light socket housing happens to be the only one that fits in the JDM headlight. Cut the running light socket off, and splice it onto the blinker/running light combo bulb wiring. You also have the bumper lens as a 2nd blinker so this method should be legal (you still have a running light and a blinker). This is not the best way to wire the JDM lights, but it is the cheapest and I got these lights pretty cheap so I didn't really care either way. Also, The JDM lights are plastic, so be sure to get a good quality headlight buffing kit, and use lots of carnuba wax in the proccess. They will come out as good as new if done right. (they were not buffed yet in the video). It is also easier to buy a replacement wiring harness/connector for whatever bulb you chose to use, mine are hardwired and it will be more difficult to replace bulbs that way. You may be able to cut the tabs off of the usdm stock blinker/running light bulb socket to manipulate it into the jdm light if you do not feel like re wiring it like I did.
