2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Nürburgring Lap

The powerful 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe laps the Nürburgring as if it was born to be there. The CTS-V handles surprisingly well despite its weight, but a gentle powerslide can quickly turn into a horrible accident. Driving the CTS-V Coupe is certainly a thrilling experience, especially on the Green Hell. One of the fastest American cars on the market today is also one of the most fun. I make a few mistakes in this lap, but I think it illustrates how fine the line between control and chaos is in this car. No damage, but certainly some close calls. The idea wasn't a flawless lap, but rather a fun and exciting one. I think the CTS-V coupe did a good job of accomplishing that.

With 0.90 lateral g's, the Colt Ralliart grips decently, but is plagued by terrible body roll. 145 horspeower gives this mini Evo some grunt, especially with a curb weight of only 2337 lbs. To be completely honest, the Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart isn't terrible fun to drive, thanks to truly epic amounts of body roll. Give this little car some ARBs and stiffer shocks and it should feel a whole lot better.

So it was no hesitations with getting the camera out for footage!! Hella dope vehicle too!! Took it to a good location for pictures and videos. A Candy Orange 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe on 24" Asanti wheels. Well put together car! Car was majority done in Virginia (except for paint). The paint was a Burnt Orange, Copper color! And then the sun made the Orange came out. Car was painted by Kent's Automotive in Waycross, GA. And it is sitting perfectly on 24" Asanti's, 275/25r24 tires. Had a matching Asanti Grille! Then the interior was done with brown gator inserts, and custom door panels. The door panels had Memphis MOFO Pro Component loudspeakers and tweeters... 1 8" speaker, 2 6.5" speakers and 2 tweeters in each door. And WHEW they were loud! Can hear them when he played music (watch on VIMEO). Also had to get highway footage of it! Glad I got videos of this one. Been seeing it on the internet, but officially got to check it out in person. Enjoy the video!
