Saker RapX/GT: INSANE RIDE, Details, Overview
At the 2013 Top Marques Monaco, I had the amazing opportunity to have a ride in a real racecar for the road: the Saker GT. This insane vehicle features a 2.0L, Subaru engine which has been completely modified with race components in oder to produce 275BHP and 350Nm; that may not seem much but with a weight of around 785kg the car is capable of doing 0 -- 100 km/h in 3.4 sec! In my video you can see also the Saker RapX ISIS Edition which was showcased for the first time inside the show. Enjoy this insane little beast! Subscribe to my channel! Carlo
Saker GT Test Drive | A Racecar For The Road!
I had the luck to have a ride in the GT, one of the early models, the SV1, of a brand from The Netherlands named Saker. In this configuration, the Dutch car has 275hp and 350Nm out of a Subaru 2.0 liter turbo engine, which might not seem a lot but the car only weighs 785kg. The car will do 0-60 in 3.4s and will go to a top speed of around 260km/h. The chassis is a steel spaceframe and the body is made out of fibreglass. This car is extremely low, its height is only 94cm! In the car, you're really lying down on the seats, and the roof is almost touching your head. It's pure driver's racecar, with license plates Having a blast around the mythic Monte-Carlo F1 track in Monaco was really thrilling, especially in a street legal racecar like this one. One funny thing is the turbo noise, which was really loud. And on the GoPro footage, you can see the gearbox working! Enjoy!

SR20VET SAKER GT VS 750+hp Nascar powered NZV8 / Teretonga - Speedfest - FF
Last race of the weekend and started P4, was only 0.4 of a second off Leroy in the ex Crowe/Freeth starlet but he and I both had issues which meant we DNF'd. I had a fuel leak which resulted in low fuel pressure and a small fire when I got back to the pits. Had a good fight with Liam in his Falcon up untill that point. Being the first race meeting in the car there's still a lot of setup t do. As you can see there is a significant aero imbalance, need to develop a multi element rear wing and try to get more on the back.
