Cougar Buying Guide Ep.2 - 1967 XR-7 289
In this video, Don does a detailed inspection on a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7 to show some of the things you should look for when buying one of these classic cars. Some of the insight here can potentially save you hundreds, even thousands, when you go to negotiate with a seller. Also, it will help those of you trying to sell, to more accurately advertise the strengths and weaknesses of your car. We've also done a similar video with a 1970 Cougar convertible, so you may want to check that out too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fizb2vo68vA To look up the parts mentioned in this video, visit http://www.cougarpartscatalog.com Subscribe to our channel to keep up with our latest uploads! Rusty Roof Replacement - 1968 Cougar
If you have an old car that came with a vinyl top, chances are that you have some rust issues in the roof. This was the case with Andrew's car - a 1968 Mercury Cougar that his grandparents bought brand new in '68. In this video, Andrew takes matters into his own hands to replace his rusted roof skin with a solid donor roof from another car. He is by no means a restoration expert, just an amateur trying to save some money and save his car. Need a roof or other body panels for your classic Cougar? West Coast Classic Cougar has it all.
