Fitting this into the space usually taken by Juke's 1.6-litre engine is a big challenge for the team. Not only do they have to build the car around the engine but also find space to house all the cooling systems that it needs to perform. The revised 2012 Nissan GT-R's LC4 R-mode start launches from 4000 rpm like the 2009 LC1 original, but with a smoother clutch engagement to minimize wheelspin. These runs resulted in a 0-to-60 mph runs of 3.0 and 3.1 seconds, without rollout. That's a significant improvement over all previous GT-Rs.
